Highlights from last season...

Welcome to Players' Theatre, a non-profit theatre group serving both the McGill and Montreal communities. Founded in 1921, Players' Theatre is Montreal's oldest English black box theatre and one of the few remaining English theatre groups in Montreal. As a student service of SSMU (the Students' Society of McGill University), Players' Theatre is completely operated by students. We produce full length regular season plays as well as the annual McGill Drama Festival (MDF), featuring original plays written, acted, and directed by McGill students.

Players' Theatre actively contributes to the arts community at McGill but also seeks to bring affordable theatre entertainment to the Montreal public. Each year, the theatre acts as a breeding ground to foster new acting and writing talent. Not only is Players' Theatre dedicated to promoting diversity in terms of its participants, it also engages audiences through its productions dealing with diverse subjects and themes.

The 2015-2016 season will consist of four regular season shows between October and February, as well as the annual McGill Drama Festival in April.
