About US

Players’ Theatre is situated on the traditional lands and territories of the Kanien’kehá:ka of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Huron/Wendat, Abenaki, and Anishinaabeg. We would like to recognize and actively be conscious of the history of this island and the ongoing colonial process that we call Canada.

Players’ Theatre is non-profit theatre company that aims to bring affordable and accessible performances to members of the community. Founded in 1921, we are Montréal’s oldest English-speaking black box theatre, and remain one of the city’s only English theatre groups. We aim to serve both as a resource for any individuals (beginners are always welcome!) who wish to participate in a production, learn more about theatre, or support us as an executive member. To get involved, join our newsletter! We regularly email about upcoming shows, auditions, and opportunities. Or feel free to email one of our executives directly!
